LOL Anne, in my home town, the ONLY Jewish family owned Brooks clothing store. That was over 50 yrs ago. A couple of more families moved in when I was in high school, not in the clothing business.\
And yeah, Leora often has to explain, NO we really do NOT celebrate Christmas or Easter.
Hi IMBJ, I'm not in Japan but my son & grandsons live in the Bay Area and he has a friend who teaches in Tokyo. No word yet from her. I'm glad so glad the tsunami spared SF. I hope you and your B are okay!
Belinda, I forgot to mention how happy I was to see your post this morning. We have missed you and AJ!
Do not forget about us. We love seeing you here.
most ppl here think suki is min pin or a rat terrier?!?
although a guy honked at suki and i at a stop light yesterday and motioned for me to roll down my window - he wanted to know if suki was a basenji and if they really don't bark!
I loved this story when I saw it. It reminded me of this white cat that used to live near us years ago. We would buy catnip toys (one particular one) for our cats, and this cat would come into our place and take them. We were forever replacing them. By chance we finally met the owner and found out that white cat (we called him Thiefy) had a huge stash of these toys and that the lady never knew where he got them from.
@nobarkus:
I drop one of these little probiotic pearls in Buddy's food 1x per day. He rarely ever has gas.

Dan, palm oil isn't the best for humans. Is it different for dogs? I know dogs digest many things differently.
So pleased that Megan is getting slowly better but what a shame about Dougie -mind you he is a good age for a BC and he's had a lovely life with you. I do hope he does improve though and that you can have him for a bit longer.
I love all kinds of music- I do like hip-hop, I used to dance with Joe Tremaine Dance Co., so anything you can dance to works for me- but I cannot handle the hard rap stuff! I have a friend who's in a pretty good band out here in Discovery Bay. The band is called Sagacious Past- if you get a chance, check them out on YouTube. They're a metal band.
Stanley sure is green! When I saw your title, my first thought was of a restaurant close to us which is named the Green Iguana - you can take your dogs there on the outdoor patio, so I thought - "Wow" In England too??? Wierd how our minds work….. anyway, cute iguana.
Actually the group picture with me only includes the girls - there were 2 boys too - BUT Libby was in season and we sure didn't want that kind of picture. LOL
