I'm happy that I finally got a camera to share them. I got that harness off ebay, it's a dean & tyler. Cairo seems to like it, only thing I have against it is that the buckle hits his left elbow when he runs. Doesn't seem to bother him at all, no red spots where it touches, so I let him go at it. What cuties!! GL with them:) I would have chosen Tempest for Ariel's call name, but it was too close to our labradoodles name, Tessie.

@Walter: She is very cute…congratulations. I am always surprised when someone knows what kind of dog mine is. If you are walking your dog and someone says, "Hey what a nice looking Basenji" instead of "What kind of dog is that?"...you know they know there dogs! I agree 100% Walter! Anyone who knows our dogs are basenjis are real dog people.

Oh boy, I can only imagine how intoxicating that pile is to a Basenji. The dark colors absorb a lot of sunlight energy, which Basenjis seem to thrive on. :D

Better that they get a check up at the vets as this doesn't seem to clear up. Might they have licked the bird poop as well as the feed? I know that birds can carry disease. I would haven't have thought suet would cause caused an ongoing problem. Let us know what the vet decides please.

@Walter: Thanks Shannanigan…Scarlett is treat driven too but she would rather shred my taxes than do them (that would make her as happy as the hot dog):D! I try and not do too much of the giving her treats thing, I have seen far too many over-weight doggies and it's just as bad for them as it is for us. I feel like it should be ok to treat Scarlett at this growing age for training purposes…Paco probably ate nearly a whole hot dog a day in treats while I was training him as a pup, lol.

You and Scarlett will enjoy the class - and it already sounds like you have a lot of the basics going very, very well. :) I found the part of the class I didn't like was the first 10 minutes where all dogs were allowed off leash to socialize. With FoPaws puppies being so well socialized, I found that first 10 minutes just wound up Kipawa so much, with all the playing! Then, it took me a good 10 minutes to calm him down enough to really work well in the class. The good news is that I am seeing as Kipawa ages and becomes more respectful he doesn't need to go wild when he first meets a new dog. I also think that not taking him to the play area off leash park is also helping him.

@Patty: What lovely photos - he doesn't look very concerned about being caught in the act!! Well, I think he needed the time to get a 'close shave'. :)

@Walter: Happy half year mark Kipawa! Your little sis' thinks you look happy and care free.:D Thanks Walter! I have to give most of the credit to Therese and Kevin for producing such lovely pups as Scarlett and Kipawa.
