I never got a picture of it, but one time Bibi ran full tilt down the ditch and did one of those Basenj somersaults, landing on her back in the water. No problem. She picked herself up??mud running down her sides??shook off, and went back to running down the ditch.

She also stands (without a lead) and allows me to hose her off using the spray pistol. Her brother tolerates being hosed down, but Bib loves it.

Maybe she's a water spaniel mix. 😉 Very funny girl.

Spraying with hose!! You have to do a video of the drainage ditch run and the hose off! 😃 Mine went swimming in San Francisco Bay yesterday twice, both times far enough out to paddle.

Very cute pics! I have tried using that lead with Duke and Daisy. It was a disaster because they pulled so hard, got themselves all tangled up - then started fighting with each other. The power of the two of them dragging me … what a sight! :eek:

Re the post about all being rescue dogs. Some folks have show dogs, and also open their homes up to basenji rescues.
The photos are all submitted and folks can vote on the pic they like the best..no names and no pressure.
Its a great fund raiser to help basenjis in need and I always buy 2…one for the house and one for work.
Again, the $$ all goes to basenjis who need help.

And don't feel bad, mine did it at 8 mos. in the ring at the National last week :rolleyes::D (which can be seen by all when the DVD is available 🙂 ) - all you can do is laugh at that point.
