@sharronhurlbut: Its wonderful to add a breeder dog with a rescue dog, or dogs.. It is great to see how a dog can help the one who has issues… Course, there are some rescue dogs who can help all other dogs, so please, if you have space, open your home to a basenji in need. Ha! I failed fostering 101 and adopted my first two fosters!! I have three B's, and 3 labs pups right now! My house is a zoo! Yes the breeder B did help the other B's learn how to be "proper" , and hes great with the labs too, really knows how to teach manners, and is great with all animals, except other hard headed dominant dogs :) I wish I could foster more, but Im already over my legal limit allowed by my city…shhh dont tell anyone!!! Thanks guys - we were really pleased. And i know it rained on and off, but the sun must have been really strong when it was out - my face is now bright red, and i have burned the top of my head - keep forgetting i dont have hair there to protect it lol.

Sonny looks like he had lots of fun

After striking out with my first 2 B's I figured I'd give my other love a try! She is wonderful so far, potty training is kicking our butt..as with any puppy. We have only had her a week yesterday so I'm sure this is gonna be fun! She is giving us (my gf and I, our 3 cats and Sid) a run for our money! Sid is very jealous though, which is what we wanted. We need him to desire attention instead of just laying around all day long. Wish us luckkkk with the ol' man.

I wish there were Basenji meet ups other than shows as we would love to get together with Basenji people. We're hoping to take her to the NBS as an unentered Dog.

Welcome back, it's nice to hear from you again. Gizmo has certainly grown into a handsome Basenji. Sorry to hear he cut his paw and wish him a speedy recovery.

I agree, Geasy could loose a bit of weight.. I think Masai looks great!! I'll have my fingers crossed for him to get his final point for his junior championship!
