I'm so, so sorry. I know what it's like to lose a beloved companion. What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful girl.

I'm so sorry she is gone, but so glad it was quick and peaceful, and that she left hearing such sweet words. Peace to you all.

So sorry for your loss.
I've had my own loss on March 21,2013
My beloved Timmy left me and my world is shattered.
Please everyone
be aware that if you use ceramic bowls made in China for your dogs water or
for feeding, that lead is slowly leaching into there systems.
This is how I lost my Timmy.
Don't let his death be in vain. And, then throw out any bowls that you use that are made in China.
Don't let this happen to you.
Kathryn

Oh Kathryn, that is so horribly sad! I'm so sorry. so much of the China thing drives me crazy. Honestly, I would not have thought to check and see if my dishes were safe. And of course it is getting so difficult to find things not made in China. It was kind of you to warn us in your grief.

I am so sorry for both losses– Zahra and Timmy, who left sad hearts but happy memories.
I never heard anything about ceramic dishes being dangerous, but now we'll all know to check. Thank you for telling us.

Sorry for your losses. I have been trying not to buy cooking/eating items made in China. I remember when I lived in Houston and there was a recall for ceramic items that had lead in them. There was a mention of testing items for lead that one could do at home and I believe send in. You might want to do a google search.
