@Nancy-Berry that is so funny I often described him as a horse and his smooth trot reminds me of a Tennessee Walking Horse

Ohhhh...... what a sweet cutie pie!! He's going to give you tons & loads of love... along with testing your patience from time to time but... that's what all kids do ~ whether they've got 2 legs or 4 .. right? And yes, pictures all along the growing up stages (even if it's one where he gets all the stuffing out of a couch pillow) Very lucky you are! Thanks for sharing :)

@DebraDownSouth He's generally extremely quiet but he does yap(more like a small dog bark) at certain individuals.

@katoman Hey, you should really try to relax some! You jump to the defensive all the time!! This is a forum......it's for everyone to voice their opinion!! You're not on trial here! It's really pretty interesting when a bunch of people start voicing their idea's & opinions! You're not going to get sue'd because you bred your dogs (at least not by any of us & doubtfully by the folks who bought the pups!). I bet there's a happy guy in there some where ~ let him out for awhile! Okay? It's easy to get along with most everyone here!!

@tanza well on the DOB vaccine certificate, she actually write August 2016. Thank you @annlorimer .. Yes he is super cute.. The vet actually said he probably will be a medium size. @DebraDownSouth .. He grows taller right now .. And jumps higher.. I actually have another picture of him, his other brother/sister and possibly his parent. his probably mother is actually large size. The owner didn't want the puppy and post it online offering adoption. And sent him away to my home. Well he actually said that the mother/father is a mix rottweiler and husky. My vet said it probably mix with husky. 

Thanks for saving a life ! I agree obediance is definitely atypical of a basenji ! The mixed breed dogs are the best most of the time. I have 7 dogs all different breed mixes except for my George who looks like a pure bred Basenji. All of my dogs including the basenji are rescue dogs (and not from the shelter !) Found on the side of the road rescues!......Thank you , glad the dog found a good home! Helen

Cara went with Merlin swimming (he has neurological damage so he swims to improve leg placement). She said she doesn't think so. What was funny is she walked to the edge, JUMPED IN... the it was like "Oh No I Didn't!!" [image: 1476634335839-cara-swim-2.jpg]
