Okay, I'll have to start making these tougher. I think everybody got this one. But it's still fun. :D There will probably be another coming in a few days…..;)

That's a great shot Belinda! They look great together. We had 2 Dachshunds when I was little. They would get out of the yard and Mom and I would be running down the street after them.

@BasenjiDiva: I think those feeding pillows are called "boppys" here. I never considered what a wonderful basenji bed they'd make! I wonder if my daughter in law would consider donating hers to Cory and Jayden. Probably not. Pat :) You can ask her! The B's are loving it sooo much!

@AJs: It's just AJ and I. He's great. Only time I've had a problem with him waking me up was when he was sick with the runs for three days. He would whine to wake me up and go outside. Been there, done that. Gotta love those 3 a.m. wake-up calls, especially when its freezing outside.:)

I sure hopes she remembers us, we will see if we can maybe meet at the dogpark, although we are about 1+ hours away, both of us..it would make for a good trip. Otis and Dotty ended up becoming real good friends and I think my pack is missing her..she did put a spin on things.. I could finally put all three of my bathroom waste baskets back on the floor..;):D

Yup, Blackbeard had the many wives-some accounts say 14. I think he was the original "woman in every port" that is often associated with saliors. Bath was where Blackbeard accepted his Pardon for his previous pirating crimes. After that it is said he retired. Well I guess being beheaded does slow you down a bit. :)

@wizard: She looks like a bunny in the secodn picture :) Ha, ha…that's what I always say about that photo. And technically, she WAS a ski bunny that weekend. I took her for a walk out onto the trail that runs beside the condo so she could watch the chairlift and skiers and snowboarders. She was amazed - not afraid at all. In fact, she wanted to chase after them. :D

Fleece also makes great dog blankets. Again, for the non-sewers, just cut and don't worry about the edges. There are lots of patterns on line where the edges are tied in knots or just fringed. One or two layer fleece blankets. Cheap, machine washable, and lots of colors to choose from. (Just don't iron it!!!)

So other Bs do exactly what mine do: sit with their butt on a step or the edge of the bed, with their front feet on the ground. I wonder why they do that. :-)

@Basenjimamma: I believe children that are raised around pets learn selfcontrol, respect and they have stronger immunsystems, less allergies and the like..but that is just my opinion. Yes, also my opinion. My parents always wanted to have pets around our family (from fish to horses and from a mouse to dogs) We learned to respect life and to take care of our pets.. Also learned to say goodbye when one of them died.. A important thing in life but very hard…

@AJs: I don't know what the times were like when she was in Japan. I didn't spend any time on the Mainland. All my time was on Okinawa. I know where to go for fun there, unless things have changed. We camped at Moon Beach, did crafts at Hansen, bummed around BC Street up by Kadena and went to Hedo Point and Ie-Shima, which are historic places from WW2. I'm signing off for now… Cheers I used to take weekend R&R trips out of Kadena to Seoul, Korea. Went to Hansen for the rile range qual.
