We've moved around a lot since the last one, so here we go…
First, the state:
There are more recreational boats per capita (1 boat per 6 people) here than any other state...and I hate the water!
The first bus line was opened here and grew to become Greyhound Bus Lines.
The snowmobile was invented here. I'm glad I have a jacket!
Now, the city:
There are more golfers here per capita than any other city in the US...I wonder if they'll let me chase the balls?
In December, 1889, the library in this city is said to be the first to create the Children's Section.
It is possible to live, eat, shop and work in the downtown area without ever going outside. But I can't hold it that long!
The scenes from the opening credits of The Mary Tyler Moore Show were filmed here.
Tonka Trucks were invented just outside the borders of this city. (Nobarkus and Buddy would probably like to know this.)
The neighbor most closely associated with this city was originally named "Pig's Eye."
