Me too! I THINK the last girl and the tri girl will have stand up ears cuz they are a LOT smaller than the rest. Still floppy atm but very small petite ears on them.

So cute. Love the mix of being an adult but still a puppy.
Both shots are great but I like the first pic better. The second has too much dead space behind the butt, so everything of interest is in the right half of the frame and the pic is a bit static. In the first pic the outstretched right leg comes out of the frame and draws you in.

@donc I crop photos, remove dead space and humans so only the dog fills the picture . Heads look better side on than full front !

Basenjis like to see outside. Mine would sit on the back of sofas as yours is, until I moved to a home with large floor to ceiling windows, which turned out to be very popular. What Basenjis do not like is to have their view impeded. I had blinds that suffered until I figured that out. I had to keep them up high enough that my boy could see under them, or he would attack them.
"In order to get along with a Basenji, you have to be at least half as smart as the dog!"

@eeeefarm we have floor to ceiling doors at the back of the house, but she prefers the front bay window as there is more going on on the road than the garden!!

I’m no breeder, and my knowledge of the Basenji show standard is rudimentary at best. That said Ellie is one of the most beautiful Basenjis I’ve seen. The way her white underbelly cheats it’s way up the sides of her thighs. Not sure I’ve seen that before. The white pin stripe up the back of her skull. Jengo had one, so I’m partial to that. The spot. Just dig that so much. I hope she never grows out of her wrinkles. Happy you found each other! Keep us updated.

Have to disagree in this case. LOL Both are cute but my guess would be 70-30 for the "full frontal" with the two eyes right at you.
But I'm thinking of a family type print not a genealogical database.
