Ziggy has had loose stools (at times, all liquid) for over 2 weeks, and I have tried everything: 1/2 normal portions of a bland diet, including boiled chicken, rice, cottage cheese, oatmeal, and yogurt.
I bought some Imodium for him, but he wouldn't touch it because of the mint flavoring.
I thought that the food he is getting has a high water content and so dehydrated some of his usual frozen raw food, Steve Real Food, by baking it in the oven. It became chewy, crunchy bite-sized pieces. I also tore some chicken breasts into small pieces and dehydrated those in the oven to make "chicken jerky." He eats both of the above but still has diarrhea.
He's drinking water as usual and his behavior hasn't changed - he isn't lethargic or vomiting and doesn't in any way seem "sick."
He's 12 years old, 25 lbs., and has been seen before by vets for diarrhea (checked for giardia, parasites, etc.) but they've never been able to find anything.
Any ideas??
