Yeahhh - pretty typical basenji behavior for his age. I gave up on that type of bed, and now they both have big rectangular stuffed beds with fake sheepskin on top. I put a blanket over their beds, and now that they are 3 and 3 1/2, if they decide they are going to chew on anything, it will be the blanket. Shaye, the younger one, also likes another dog blanket totally covering her, and once in a while she'll get up with that still on her, hanging like a train, because it gets stuck on her tail - looks adorable, embarrasses her, so she sometimes bites that one too.
So cute

Where does the Cat go?Kitty don't like it to sleep in the radiator bed at daylight..
He only sleeps in it when it's night hahaha
(maybe our new addition to the family likes itโฆ )When the Basenji's are in the living room they always sleep in it

I love the pictures you have of Ryan and the b's. They all look so happy together!

So cute indeed.
I'm jealous of children that get to grow up with dogs. My family (mom, specifically) was more cat-oriented, but I read so many more "a boy and his dog" -type stories growing up, it was hard not to feel a little like I was missing out.

I always feel I'm lucky I grew up between animals, my parents always had dogs and I got my own dog when I was 7!
Well, Officially my own but Spranky was our family dog
He teached me a lot about animals and to respect animals..
Thanks to him, I'm crazy about dogsBut Kas, my husband didn't grew up with a dog and also he is CRAZY about them (also thanks to Spranky )
