  • Oh WOW!!!! Such lovely pictures, as always. Aoide has grown into such a nice little girl and I love the action shots of Tillo.
    Thanks for sharing

  • Fabulous pictures, as always! :)

  • Next Basenji I get I'm going to have you pick out. Those two are some of the most beautiful and IMO the epitome of what I think a Basenji looks like….

  • Stunning - simply stunning!

  • Lovely bitch…..! great pictures, curious if the puppy came in season and how that went with Tillo?

  • I can not believe those photos, what did you use as a medium/camera stock??? I and my hubby were in jaw dropping awe…next B has to be a R/W.... congratulations and kudos!

  • Thank you all for your nice comments!

    @tanza:

    Thank you! Yes, the puppy came in season ;) She just finished! It went really well with Tillo! He wasn't interested until day 18 and then he was interested until day 23, which was last wednesday. We didn't even need a crate! We just kept them in sight and if we weren't home one got the top of the house and the other the bottom ;) Still happy it's over though..

    Thank you! B's are great in every colour :) We use the Canon 7D and our most used lens is the 70-200 2.8

  • Your two are simply amazing :)

    You take the most beautiful pictures!

  • Your pictures always are such a delight to see, and Tillo and Aiode are such beautiful dogs. When I first joined the Forum the pictures of Tillo you had posted just blew me away, and it is always the same. Congratulations on your winners - you must be so very proud of how well you have trained them!

    @AJs: I have been placed several times into the position of having something that was illegal simply because while I had acquired an object legally, a law was subsequently passed making that object a crime to own. I believe in 4th Amendment guarantee to security in my property, house, person and effects from unreasonable search and seizure as well as 5th Amendment protection against deprivation of life, liberty and property without due process. If what I own does not injure anyone else and I acquired it legally, I don't believe it is anyone's business what I have. Further, I believe that simply passing a law against something because the majority of people voting on it don't like it does not constitute due process, especially if I previously acquired that item legally. Sheesh! When are people in this country going to learn to mind their own business! Well said, AJs Human! Especially when it comes to simple things like owning animals that are not dangerous, not endangered, do not hurt anyone, do not make noise to irritate the neighbors, etc! If it's a tiger or an elephant, I'd understand… but a pygmy hedgehog or a fish? And if I can drive to another state to legally buy it and I keep it on my own personal property and take good care of it, why should anyone care? Cheers to you!!

    @Mantis: How old is she? Tell us more about her. She is so cute! When we got her (late Oct 2006) the vet thought she was 9-12 mos based on teeth. Over the months she has been getting more spots on her belly. Dont know if that gives any sign of age or not. She seems smaller than some of the Basenjis on this site. She is very thin and muscular. Is there a difference between sizes Male vs females? Could she have been a runt?
