@tsjoe007: As they are serious breeders I think they are. They only breed Basenji's so I am pretty sure the pups are ok. But nevertheless I'll inquire after. Now we do have the time to spent time with the dogs on the beach. The main tourist season is over and the beaches, at least if you know where to go, are empty as far as your eyes can see. This is Basenji-Fun-Season ;-) They have so much fun charging the doves and running just for joy. Regards, Esther

As soon as DH gets up in the late morning, Jack takes over his spot in bed and makes a little nest out of his pillows right in the sun. Then, in the afternoon, as the sun moves, he makes himself comfortable on the back of the couch, where he can lie in the sun AND watch the squirrels out of the window. But, when he gets too hot, he moves and lies right on the rug in front of the front door, where there is never any light.

@snorky998: OMG…I always thought your name choice was cute, but I never made the jump to A. A. Milne's Roo. I just thought it was a derivative of the baroo sound. Roo's name is soooooo much cuter to me now!!!! Are you still on the water or are you like most in Illinois that cash it in, so to speak, after Labor Day? No, we haven't packed it in quite yet. Looks like Saturday might be a great day to get out there!
