I think they just look solid so my mind saw "bigger." I have one of the Wimaumau rescue giants (44 pounds), but even my 2 previous gals were far from petite... about 26 to 28 pounds. My dream of a petite 18 pound basenji just never happened, lol.
Hi from Russia!

So precious! Thanks for sharing.

Welcome and thank you for the cute picture. The look on her face put me into a fit of giggles. When my dogs give that look we say they are giving you the "stink eye".
She's a cutie!!

Welcome! You have a very cute puppy; and, trust me, your English is way better than my Russian. (I had the chance to visit Russia many years ago; it's a beautiful place! with warm people.)

Welcome! Your basenji is very pretty. Your english is very good! I work with a lovely nurse from Russia, I love her accent.

Welcome, Salis!
My real name is Daria, I am actually originally from Moscow, too. Didn't know there were basenjis there. I've been in USA for over 10 years now. Oh, and your english is just fine.

Hello Salis,

So interesting!
I met Irina Ososkova from Lis Glamur at the dog show. How did you bring your dog from Russia? Did you visit Moscow?/////////////welcome to the Forum! I have a Basenji-girl from Moscow. Kennel Lis Glamur. Her Mother is also from Kennel Marlen Brao.

That's wonderful!
I'm not from Moscow, but I live in the town Voronezh. And there were only a few basenjis in Russia more than 10 years ago. In our town there are only 4 basenjis now, my puppy is the 5th.///My real name is Daria, I am actually originally from Moscow, too. Didn't know there were basenjis there. I met Irina Ososkova from Lis Glamur at the dog show. How did you bring your dog from Russia? Did you visit Moscow? As the Father of my Russian Girl Panda is a relative of my own Male Jester, I knew the breeder already by eMail. So when I saw Panda's pictures I knew I had to have her in my pack. My Boyfriend flew to Moscow to pick her up there as I do not have a international valid passport (I have to get that done). He stayed there with the owners of Panda's mother Margo and then took a flight back to Kopenhagen with her. No big deal!
Regards,
Esther
