My family just lost our 5 yr old Basenji 3 days ago. :( Red was in the first stages of Fanconi for 1 1/2 yrs. This past week he started crying and seemed not quite right.

He was in total renam failure that day. Red was home with us for one entire day and then he went too him to the bridge. My heat is very heavy.
He was the smartest most beautiful Basenji in the world. Laura

My heart goes out to you in your time of loss and mourning. I know it hurts real bad. I lost the light of my life in Rocky 4 years ago. Red will always be with you in heart and know he's very happy chasing them pesky squirrels in heaven.

As a fellow Fanconi "mom" still within the first year of this terrible diagnosis, my heart goes to you. Just know you did your best while your b was alive and loved them as much as possible. It is all any of us can do.
