Spot

My family found Spot in our front bushes on Christmas Day in 1994 only an 8 week old kitten. We tried to find his owners because he was obviously a well raised kitten and was litterbox trained. No one came forward so he came to live with me in my first apartment in Davis. Spot loved food and frustrated my roommate because he would even eat raw zucchini if she left it out on the counter. Spot always knew he was top cat and confidently walked around the house as if he owned it. He enjoyed his cat companions Sparky and Bernie and later in life Nu. Spot liked the basenjis and Nicky even let Spot eat from his mouth.
Today we helped Spot cross the bridge. He was having a harder and harder time breathing and even in the triple digit weather was only just keeping warm enough. The big thing though was that my cat who loved to eat everything, did not want to eat anymore not even to lick the tasty gravy from his favorite foods. We made sure he had a good day today and enjoyed the sunshine. All the dogs and Nu seemed to know that it was time to say their goodbyes.
Run Free Spot.
