i used to take pet portraits for people. Got pretty good at making unusual noises to get the dog's expression. With horses, an umbrella slowly opening works wonders! But dogs, like kids, get bored quickly. In my experience if you don't get "that" shot in the first minute or so, you won't. But some are real hams and love the camera! Basenjis generally are very photogenic. 🙂
Bodhis first day at doggy park

ahhh…Bodhi is cute. I like the name too. How'd you come up with it?
-
yeah, that dog park is massive! and its so funny that with all that room, all the dogs are crammed on the table!
-
I don't remember but, who was Bodhi's breeder? My boyfriend & I are looking for a B/w baby
-
The dog park is huge and is all fenced in .
Bodhi do like to stand on anything flat . About 1/2 of the b's end up on the table at some point during the dayBodhi is the tree that buddha did something at cant remember the whole story behind it.
I got him from a famil in delaware ( same family that mantis got cairo from last year)
-
Hm. I'm originally from Maryland so maybe I'll look for Delaware breeders because Bodhi is definitely a cutie pie!
-
I look at photos and I swear…is it me or do Basenji's sometimes smile? It really looks like the do at times!
-
Very cute pics! I love the one on the glass table top, did he have any initial reaction to being able to see through?

I've been to that Dog Park. It was a Sunday in August about a year and a half ago. What a blast to see all of them running around. Good to hear another B has been integrated and can enjoy the park.

Where is this dog park?? I live in Lakeland, FL about 30 minutes from Tampa. Your dog park is way bigger than ours and not one Basenji goes to ours!
