Hey everyone!
My name's Becky and I'm from Cleveland, OH. I am going to bring home my new little guy on Monday and found this forum while brushing up on my basenji info. He's a 5 month old red and white male from Meisterhaus and I am BEYOND excited! He will be my second dog from the wonderful Tad. My first, Cody (pictured in my avatar), passed away in October and a huge piece of my heart has been missing ever since. I look forward to getting back into conformation (it's been 8 years!! eek!) and I would really like to pursue other dog sports with him!IS IT MONDAY YET???!

Yes please pics, don't pets just fill your heart, pet owners must have the biggest hearts around. When we lose one we don't replace them in our hearts our hearts just get bigger to make room for the next.

Thanks everyone! It took awhile for me to be approved on the forum so it's been a month and a half since I've had Elliot. :) He's a very sweet and silly little guy and we have been having a lot of fun together!

He is so gorgeous looking, love photo no.3 and jealous of photo 2 as my cat is yet to feel that comfortable with Kaiser yet. Enjoy your little fella.

He is gorgeous! Very lucky to have him, hope you get to enjoy all the crazy unique mannerisms. So jealous he gets along so well with cats; Oakley would sniff them incessantly and wouldn't be able to rest..lol

Thanks everyone! I have two cats and while this one is fine with the puppy, the other avoids him at all costs. My previous boy Cody was also fine with MY cats but if we came across a cat outside all bets were off.

Welcome, Becky! Elliot is such a handsome boy. He is a cousin to my Ava, who is just a few weeks younger. :)

Our little tri girl is a Jasper/Rain baby from Tad, just a few weeks younger than your boy. Our friends have one of Elliot's brothers. Ownedbyspencer's Ava is a Dara/Simon baby, a gorgeous (and spunky) little brindle girl. So Elliot has quite a few connections on here!

That's awesome! Tad's a great guy. I got to hang out with Ava's GORGEOUS brother Grant (who was Elliot's best friend). Anyone showing their pups?
