Hello from new Basenji owners in CT

We stumbled across this forum just shortly after getting our brand new baby boy, Lewie! He is such a joy to have around, well mannered and fairly calm (for now- we know that will change!)

We look forward to many loving years as a "pack" with Lewie!

Welcome! So glad you found us. Tell us a little more about Lewie - how old is he now? Do you have any pictures you can post of him? We LOVE pictures. :)

Lewie is about 14 weeks old now and about 9 lbs…

He's a lovely red and white Basenji with white "knee high socks" in the front and "ankle socks" on the back.

As of right now, he seems to be finding his voice, with little grumbles, squeeks, and squeals... no yodels as of yet.

He loves to be snuggled up in blankets... the warmer the better!

We live over in New Haven although I grew up in Salem CT (right next to Colchester!)

Yep - we moved back at the beginning of the year so I could go back to my old job! My stint in California was short and sweet!
