You and Scarlett will enjoy the class - and it already sounds like you have a lot of the basics going very, very well. 🙂 I found the part of the class I didn't like was the first 10 minutes where all dogs were allowed off leash to socialize. With FoPaws puppies being so well socialized, I found that first 10 minutes just wound up Kipawa so much, with all the playing! Then, it took me a good 10 minutes to calm him down enough to really work well in the class. The good news is that I am seeing as Kipawa ages and becomes more respectful he doesn't need to go wild when he first meets a new dog. I also think that not taking him to the play area off leash park is also helping him.
First Kipawa pictures!

OMG he is just sooo cute…boy do I have puppy envy!!! :p but that will only last till I get home from work and Sonny will remind me how often I used to say "when is this crazy puppy going to act like a normal dog!" then again I learned a basenji will never be a normal dog!!! :D:D

Yeah..finally here..I am so over the moon happy for all of you. He is one pretty little guy. He will be a basenji girl heartbreaker before you know it…too cute.

He looks as though he's in heaven too. I'm sure you'll have many happy days, months, years to come.

Does he have enough toys?????
Seriously, I am so happy for you! He is darling…lucky boy to have found such a great home. -
woo congrats! what a lovely pup!

Those toys will not be whole after a while. I am delighted you finally got your "little" man home.
Hugs and hugs to you all.
How do the kittys like the puppy?Sharron, it is going really well! The kitties are showing and telling Kipawa that they were here first. Kipawa just wants to play with them, but they have a hiss that tells Kipawa that close is okay, but nothing more. It's great, I don't have to walk around ensuring the kitties are safe. Tons of thanks to Therese and Kevin for exposing Kipawa to cats!

There he is! I see he's already building quite the menagerie of… toys.
Cute cute cute.Uh, yes. The toy box is quite full. Yesterday when we were buying his coat, he grabbed a 5 foot long soft, squeeky boa constrictor off the shelf. So that came home with us. It was fun watching him interact with other dogs in the store - so respectful of them. I know that eventually he will do something needing correction, but this boy is a dream.

Oh Kipawa- I know I am going to be the same as you- when my puppy comes home and we go to a store, anything he even looks at will probably come home with us, so happy you finally got your baby and he is a dream!

Congratulations! He is so cute. I can't wait to hear more stories.
