great pictures - it looks like it was a fantastic holiday. The scenery looks very like here in Scotland - only not quite so wet.:)

Thanks for all the kind comments :)
Beautiful pics and beautiful landscape! I just love Europe :D.
After that 6 days Tillo must be a very tired. How long he was sleeping? :D.Yeah, I love Europe too :) Especially the fact that it's easy to bring your dog with you on vacation.
Tillo slept a lot. As soon as we arrived at a B&B he would sleep almost immediately untill the next morning. He would only wake up for his dinner.. and ours ;) :DWhat an amazing holiday. Beautiful photos, looks like you all had fun. Mine, even when younger, would have had to have a rest day every other day!
Well.. after the third day we really needed a day rest too.. Lucky for us the fourth hike was only 5 hours. We did make sure that we had a 20-30 min break for Tillo's breakfast (he ate after a 2 hour walk) and a good hour for our lunch, so Tillo could do a power nap.

Tillo is awful with wet grass etc.. So every morning when we stept out of the B&B he would do nr 1 and nr 2 and look at us like.. ok.. we can go back to bed now.. He really needed to be convinced to walk further ;) After 10 min he would be ok though.

We were first planning to go to Scotland.. Now we're thinking about going next year, maybe with a camper or something like that.. or we'll have to find some nice dog friendly accomodations. (if you know anything… ;)

Wonderful pictures, as always - the views are amazing. The picture of the three of you is a really nice one - both your guys are "hunks!" How great it is that you can take hiking trips like that with Tillo.

After I saw your pics I really want to go next year! It's beautiful there. But I wouldn't recommend these hikes with a baby… ;) I already had to carry Tillo at times when he couldn't walk on the path because of all the bushes.. And that's HEAVY ;)

Looks like you all had a great time, what beautiful scenery. The b+b that let Dogs roam loose sounds realy good.
I love the pic of Tillo sitting on your bf trainer , they are such wimps when it's wet (Basenjis i mean not men ;) ) -

We wanted to rent a little cottage and explore from that point ;)
(And I sure don't want to carry 2 basenji's, a baby of maybe even a dogo!) -

No problem Janneke - just let me know when your coming over and where you want to visit and i will help out - Scotland has lots of dog friendly cottages or B&Bs to stay at - probably easiest to contact me via Facebook. With all the travelling we do to shows i am the king of finding dog friendly accomodation.:D
Scott.

That is my favourite picture too! :) I love how you guys pick up Tillo a lot. It looks like he totally loves it! Once again, Tillo takes some great pictures. Very nice family photo as well. I'd frame that one and have it on a desk or something.

Tillo LOVES to be carried around. When he has to go outside for his last pee before we go to bed, I always carry him out of the house. He just refuses to walk by himself  I also have to carry him upstairs.. I ask him "are we going to bed?" and he will run to the stairs and put his front legs as high as possible.. so cute ;)

Janneke, what a wonderful vacation.. the company (Lovely BF, BFF = Tillo), the scenery and all that happy peaceful, quiet solitude..nice!! Wonderful pictures, I love the one of Tillo sitting on a shoe and lots of the other ones as well.
Thank you so much for sharing, felt like I was home in Sweden, looking at all your pictures.
