All dogs take patience and that you be at least as persistent as they are. At her age, she doesn't get the option of "won't allow me to do anything." Without yelling, hitting or rough behavior, you really can turn it all around. Right now is the time she must learn you can check her teeth, look between her toes, check her ears, etc. At some point in life, it may be critical, so training her NOW is important. But it can also be relationship building and fun. :) Mary has one of the easiest to follow sites. You just start working on training so that she comes to see you as the one to guide her.     Jaycee did really well with all noise she was ready for bed it was past her bedtime. I think she thought the noise was just Eli paying another game. Rita Jean

    Cory and Jayden have foam inside a pillowcase on the bottom of their crates. On top of that are dog crate beds that are wrapped in old babycrib sheets. They each have two little baby receiving blankets in the beds so they have something to "rough up" for when they make their beds comfortable at night. Sometimes Jayden gets too enthusiastic and gets all the cushions etc all bunched up in a big mound in his crate and he can't lay down. I have to remove him and completely remake the bed before he can go back in to sleep. Sometimes before he goes in his crate to sleep, he'll stand up and remove Cory's baby blankets from her crate (on top of his)….......just to irritate her at bedtime. And it does irritate her! Pat

    I think an original idea should be developed that is associated with bs. The weims dressed up is so classic for them. Bs should somehow be associated with messes. Maybe they should be paired with new furniture advertising or TP sales!!! Weims became so popular tho, they are having probs in rescue. They are very high energy and most people can't give them enough exercise. I think my idea would prevent Bs from becoming too popular and lots more ending up in rescue. :D
