September 9, 1991 - January 2, 2009
Today we helped OJ over the rainbow bridge at 17yrs and almost 4 months. He was a grand old boy… May you now be free to run and play over the Rainbow bridge with those that have gone before you.
Thank you to Terri Gavaletz for entrusting OJ with us for all these years.... He was truly a Basenji that was a boy-dog to the end.....

I know that you knew OJ's time was coming to an end but that doesn't make it any easier. You gave him a wonderful home and a great life. I am so sorry for your loss.

What a great testament of what great love and care you gave this Basenji, over 17 yrs. WOW! I pray I have my sweet Sahara that length of time, He obviously had a great life here on earth.
