  • @Quercus:

    he, he…good point...kinda creepy :)

    Very cute pics!

I know the answer that that one.. it is the Boxer?.. right???

  • @dmcarty:

ok I may be nuts but does whatever your white dog is - is there a head somewhere?

**Yes that's my boxer Reggie, the cat is sitting on his head. If you look at the side pics you can barely see an ear between the cats paws. He is very prone to having cats (and now basenjis) think he is very comfortable. As pictured above and this one too, this one's not even our cat, well he's basically ours (long story).

Hope you don't mind pics of Reggie and Pigmy also**

  • Haha I love the pic of the cat draped over Reggie's neck and face! Very cute!

  • Reggie is beautiful! Of course we want to see pics of him too! oh, and the cat too! ;)

  • Thanks for sharing the pictures!!!Tiggy looks on happy:) Thanks

  • Oh my goodness! Those pics are beautiful! They look like postcards. I told my co-worker about your white boxer. She has a brown & white boxer (Gia Bella) that is the love of her life. She wanted to know…is your boxer deaf? She told me most white boxers are. Never heard of that. Anyway, you have a beautiful family!
    Jodie:)

  • Those are great! We love pictures!!

    Thank you!

I know no way to politely say that your coworker is grossly misinformed about most white boxers being deaf :o . Now yes they do cary a deaf gene, however so do all boxers. White are mose likely to be deaf than the color version. A well bred white boxer has only a 12% chance of being deaf. The statics of whites being deaf mainly comes from those that end up into shelters and they are mostly products of BYB. I have met two colored boxers that were deaf, one from a good breeder to other a BYB. I have also only met two whites that were deaf, both from BYBs

As for Reggie, he has what I call "selective hearing" lmao, he has perfect hearing and no health problems (another thing people thing about whites, high health problems).

  • Thank you for that info. I will let her know the info you gave me.
    Jodie:)

Glad you are used to the "selective hearing" of your boxer…Tiggy will most likely have that as well! :D

Not as often as he used to, but he still does it once in a big while, and then he tries to dive under the couch like he used to, but instead he just slams into it because he is too big! haha

Thank you, all, for the compliments! Ty's registered name is Apex Tyvola. He just turned 3 and is recently retired from the show ring. Zeenie is between 11 & 13 and is a BRAT dog originally found in Illinois: I've had her 9 years now and she is an angel (w/ horns, occasionally:rolleyes:)

I like the picture of the 4 rigid legs sticking out from under the covers. Those legs are why DH doesn't like Cory to spend the entire night in bed with us - she sleeps with those legs sticking into HIS back. LOL. She doesn't do it if we bring her into bed in the morning to sleep late with us. Pat

P.S. I like picture #2 the best – Tiggy is looking at Reggie like "what are you doing?"
