Wow they are some great pics, it looks like everyone had a great time!
I can't believe Lexi actually swims that is amazing. Oh and I really love the one of her in the tree, that's a very unique picture. -

You know… it often occured to me that perhaps you don't know that I inter-change Miles's name. He has many nicknames. When we first got him, he was all silly and would do these crazy acrobatics... he'd come running at you and then do a front roll right into you. It was the funniest thing. So odd and so amusing!! So I called him "Floppy Ham Man" for a while. That was shortened to "Ham". When DH and I went on vacation to the Dominican Republic a year or so ago, we found it amusing that all the food items in the dining area were incorrectly translated to English. Everywhere there should have been an "H", they had a "J". So for breakfast you could have "Jam and Eggs" instead of "Ham and Eggs". Anyways, it was really cute. So when we came home, Miles's nickname then became "Jam". And then it became "Little Jam"-- but pronounced more like "Yiddo Jam". I dunno... we're weird I suppose. I swear we have our own language that we talk to the dogs in...LOL!!! Tell me I'm not alone!! :)

You're not alone - Daisy is "my little bumpy cake"! I think of her as just that soft and sweet.
I went back to the first thread - low and behold I realized you've had "Jam" over 2 years already! Wow - where'd the time go? He looks great, as does Lexi. They are sure having a great life with you guys. (Wish I was as lucky :D!!!) Great pictures of your hiking trip. Looks like so much fun!

I have just been reading your first post, I am so glad it worked out so well for you and Miles, he sounds like a wonderful dog. We also have lots of silly names for our dogs, and they respond to them too!
I loved the pictures of the dogs, they look really happy together.

So today was Lexi's 8th birthday… so naturally we had a party! All her local puppals got together... she got lots of stuffed toys, cookies, and even a frosty paw. The girls baked cupcakes in her honor. We were going to do a Doggie Easter Egg Hunt, but the girls were afraid the labs would just break through the eggs and eat the plastic so we nixed it. But the dogs had a blast playing. And of course we tried for a photo shoot-- I'm sure you can't tell who's photographed all the time... ;) hahahah... Oh Lexi!! You love pictures! Enjoy!!

I just loved reading your post, in a world where we have so much trouble its nice to hear a story like this. Miles is lucky to have found you and i'm sure he will have lots of fun with Lexi.
