The coat looks gorgeous - it's just the skin…I have noticed since it is persisting it down here (and cold - well it is Summer...) that the flaking is much better - I wonder if the flat is too dry for him? It has got central heating...which is till occasionally switched on - and it's nearly June :(

Definitely looks like a basenji to me. If it was something like a lab, they would be in the pool hogging the space.

Well .. both my partner and i know when the house is quiet it means little miss is up to mischief… we figured she was either down in the toilet or the bathroom so the other half got his phone out and turned the camera on. We caught her in the bathtub ha ha ha she gave us the most evil look :D (it was empty though) teehehee... shes got a thing for that tub. Congo gets free rein if we are outside of civilization (at least 5 to 10 miles) and he does very well unless he sees another animal. I live in the desert so we can usually keep an eye on him for long distances. I use an elk cow call to call him back. I use that rather than a whistle because the place where I take him has lots of dog owners with whistles.

They are called Diastix. Some drug stores still carry them, but many have to special order them. You can find them online though.

All three pups sleep in bed with us. We bought two double beds and stuck them togeather so we could all fit. It's still crowded. My next dog IS going to sleep in a crate!
