Great picture! How does Sonny do with the Christmas tree? This will be our first Christmas with Dolce and we are incredibly nervous that we will come down and find the tree toppled and the ornaments eaten.

Basenjis love trees! They are especially helpful at undecorating, though, unfortunately, they are usually a tad too early. Lola loved to unwrap the bottom layer of ribbon around the tree, and most ornaments were knocked off by basenji tails diving under the tree to get the cat. The cat actually caused most of the ornament breakage, as she would bat at an ornament until it fell, then bat it around the room until it hit a wall and broke.

Just be glad Dolce is a she & not a he. Things could be even trickier ;)
