You order the test kit from the OFA website, http://www.offa.org/dnatesting/index.html
Your contract should have included details of all the health testing results of the parents, in this case, just the dam since the sire is still unknown, as well as all the health results for your puppy like CERF and Fanconi DNA results if done prior to placement, etc.

Your new little one is too cute. I must admit I am partial to the name as we have a 6 yr old r/w male named Monty . Lots of love and enjoyment to you for many years.

Monty is so cute!!! He sure has a lot more white than most, but you never know - it doesn't preclude him being pure B. Hope you have lots of years of enjoyment with the little guy - he is precious.

Its wonderful about the DNA testing…but what about the fanconi testing? Sorry to sound like a broken record, but I had a fanconi b and I loved and lost that dog.

The breeder did say she had testing for fanconi done. But we are still waiting to see who the sire is.... so.Okay… not here much but a breeder purposely bred this litter? <running for="" duct="" tape="">Cute puppy. But the link given for "this breeder" with other dog made me a bit queasy.</running>

I just found one in the database of another white and red animal, I think it is from the same breeder (going of another post)

Oh no I fully agree, I'm not trying to ruffle feathers I don't mean it in that way I didn't mean it to come off like that. And Monty is absolutely adorable puppy. :D :p I think the white on him makes him quite unique. I hope that twshutika keeps all the pictures coming so that we can watch him grow.
twshutika: I'm very happy to hear that your breeder is going to send you a fanconi test kit. And please keep posting pictures of him. Don't starve of us this special little boy that you have.

He is still as adorable as he was as a puppy…I love all the white. Makes him very unique and to me that is really great! Looks like he has a fun life with you. :D:D

What a gorgeous boy! Ive never seen that much white either…and his tail doesnt look like it has any curl to it either. Looks too straight. Pups at that age usually have SOME curl starting to their tail. Are you sure he's full blood? Regardless, he's adorable :)
