We had a lovely day, the judge was very polite and pleasant and gave every dog his full attention, every chance to show off their movement.
Congratulations to the winners, Steve won Post graduate with Poppy, Scott was best puppy dog, Maya as always looked beautiful and showed her socks off. The forum members did well today!
I was VERY pleased with how he judged. Was incredibly polite and definately gave everyone plenty of time and attention, even waiting while idiot here sorted out a number and ran into the class late :o It was a rough day :rolleyes:
Was nice to catch up with everyone again :D

Maya was looking better than i have seen her for months today jess - back to her previous form - i thought you were in with a shout.
we won best puppy dog, best brace, and best team - that was an experience!!!!ps the judge had to run and read a text on his phone whilst going over one of my dogs….......

Well done guys on all your results today.
I had a lovely day putting my feet up and watching you all do the hard work lol !!! ( makes a change ). Thought the judge was on his bestest behaviour, or at least the best it gets !!!! looked a little bored at times and kept glancing around the ring to see if he had an audience !!! and I saw him make a dive onto his phone Scott !!!!!
All in all a very relaxed show, the Dobe people could learn some valuable points lol !!!!!

Haha, I missed that Scott, which class was that? I agree about Maya too, she looked in really good form.

I missed the mobile phone incident too. Isnt it against the judges rules and regs to use a phone whilst judging? :o Bless 'im… :rolleyes:

There were a couple of people taking photos so i dont know if those will be emailed out or not, i hope they will as it would be lovely to see how Maya looked :D If any do get emailed to me i will see if i can get permission to post them on here, or facebook if not here :)

I hope I don't see any of me and Pip, Pip was not the best behaved. He wasn't interested in the skate park or the two football matches going on either side but couldn't take his eyes off of the man unrolling a hose in completely the wrong direction to where he should have been looking! Typical basenji :D

I missed Pip in the ring :( He is looking lovely though, im sure the pics will show that :D
I'd love to see some of Maya on the table :D The judge went over her really gently and was stroking her neck and back a lot and she was just loving it, closed her eyes as if she was having a fuss! Her grandad (breeders husband :p ) was taking pictures and said to me she looked very relaxed, almost asleep on the table where she was enjoying it so much :rolleyes: She was in a very lovey, fussy mood on saturday :D
