Dam: Champion Kokopelli Under “The Aurora’s Spell”- Unfortunately Iko did not place in the Groups this afternoon. But he now has 15 of the required 25 Grand Champion points. My breeder is hoping he’ll be able to earn the 10 needed points for Grand Champion.

Never mind, Kembe - He will finish his Grand Champion in no time, I am sure - Groups are so political, at least they are here. Who handled him, Gretchen ?

Yes - Gretchen was his handler. She was extremely pleased with his performance. She plans on entering him in another show in October. Iko is exhausted today - it was a long day for him. The basenjis were shown @ 8am, Gretchen took Iko and her other girl home w/ her to regroup and check on the rest of her pack(she lives 40 min away). Iko was able to play with his former playmates for the afternoon - she said he had a blast. Luckily I only live about 10 min from the Better Living Center where the show was held. We met back up @ 3:30pm for Groups. It was amazing to see how much the venue had cleared out by then.
