Yea, Happy Birthday OJ, what will he be doing today to celebrate his special day? Does he get any special treat, dinner or activity? You must be a great Mom, that is a long time for a Basenji, isn't it? I guess this one is Fanconi clear!

Well, honestly, he eats just about anything he wants now… at this age, they really do not eat that well any longer... and not much energy.... just getting him out to potty is a treat!!! and he really can't hold his urine all night any longer... so we do have to get him up at 2 or 3 in the morning to go out.... and he can't get up on our bed, so we have to pick him up... he will use the doggy steps we got him to get on the big window seat in the doggy room, which is good, but even getting on the couch, he sometimes misses...
That is a long time for a Basenji...and we would say that he is most likely Fanconi Clear.

Congratz to OJ from Belgium !! He looks SOOOO great !:)
And now my obvious question: what kind of food did you gave your B boy ? Kibble, natural, a mix, … ? I'm eager to know.;)
I use a mix… (over the years)... good kibble, raw meat/veggies, canned... but at the top of the list, would be good quality food, regardless of what you feed....
