Janneke, thanks for your comments. Your answers totally help me make sense of your situation, and what Tillo is doing. I would be the same as you - the human might want the dog to get their points, but is it the best for the dog? In your situation, I certainly agree with your train of thought. I am a big Tillo fan, so naturally want him to do as well as he can in any show, but I can see how his behaviour could lead to worse things down the road if he learns that he can growl and get no reprimand for it. You are doing the best thing.

Thank you! He moved very well. No jumping or something like that. The first judge gave him a big compliment for being such a good boy in the ring
