My son dropped off his rescued shepherd- hound cross . The vet says she is a Basenji.

Can't tell if she is part basenji or not, but if so, basenjis are classified as hounds in all the dog shows, so that may be your vet's reasoning.

so close, but the picture is not all telling! What is her personality like? if she is 'part' Basenji, she will not have to worry about some inherited issues at least! Good Luck!
