Pretty Miss Kayla!

  • I have to say that in my humble opinion, photo's do not do the 'non reds' justice!

Having seen Tri's in the flesh, there is a real depth to the colour that is not usually born out in 2D and I would have to assume the same for Black and White's.

  • @Elscodobermann:

i can feel i might get talked into having one sometime in the future…

Hmmm, I can smell weakness! Must go off and devise a cunning plan!

  • LOL. I think by this time next year i will have enough to keep me occupied! i suppose one of each colour would be good - next time john asks what i want for my 40th birthday present i will have an answer already prepared….

  • @moetmum:

There's a certain little B/W bitch that lives very near to me and I have loved her from the first time I ever saw her! Probably the same one as Elscodoberman's mum!

And she is a good girl most of the time, for a Basenji; now she is getting over the Kevin stage. (Honestly, they do get over it. Eventually).

I think you might! Hope it works out well for you, it's an exciting time.

  • Miss Kayla is beautiful, well done!

  • Beautiful girl!

  • I love this bitch! She has a pretty head, graceful neck, level topline, nice tailset with shelf, and lovely angulation front and rear. Someone in Sweden is a very lucky person to be getting this girl. What is her registered name?

  • "Kayla" is Khani's Midnight Star
Sire is Khani's Causing A ComMOtion
Dam is Am CH Khani's Written In The Stars

Kayla is sweet and cuddly and the biggest tail-wagger there is….
I never have to worry about her bolting out of a crate becuase she falls in the back wagging her tail and putting her ears back.
    Sweet silly girl!

  • She is gorgeous! Maybe she needs to live in Florida…......Sweden is awfully cold.

I used to think black basenjis were 'almost like basenjis' till I got one (a rescue). One day I looked at him and thought, Oh my goodness, he is gorgeous!!! His coat glowed almost blue-black and he was very elegant. A basenji in a tuxedo. At almost 14, he is the Cary Grant of our little basenji group, all the girl pups adore him.

I had a B/W female that all the males loved. She was a real trooper too! They're beautiful!

  • Pretty little gal - nice wins!

  • I am thinking that Sophie wouldn't be too happy if Miss Kay-Kay detoured and stayed somewhere else!
They have been waiting over a year for a girl… and still have two more months!

Well, your UNCLE Dude and Ono sure are lovely show dogs as well. She is very good in the crate Fran, and as the weather is getting nice, spending a lot of time outside in the sun, when she can find it! Yes, its wonderful to see how all these imports are going to help b's…

I wonder wether it's an instinct thing, because the countries they originated from will have very hot ground?

@Janneke: If that's the devil… then what causes the rest of all their behaviours!? ;) Ha, ha, ha…soooooo true!!! Don't worry, she probably WILL :D:D do it in the ring at some point. And don't feel bad, mine did it at 8 mos. in the ring at the National last week :D (which can be seen by all when the DVD is available :) ) - all you can do is laugh at that point.
