Ava and I send (very) belated happy birthday wishes to The Talented Mr. Oakley! He's as handsome as ever– but five years already? My, my, time does fly. The forum has been so quiet. I got out of the habit of checking it, because it seemed nobody ever posted. I miss those lively days, too, when somebody always had something to report or discuss. Glad to hear you and Oakley are doing well and prospering!

Dear Sonny, Aren't you afraid that the other basenjis will chase you dressed like that? Your fellow curly tail and admirer, Zest!

Wow Anette, I just read your stories about Tric (and other dogs) in the rescue section (have not been able to log in for a few days), and I have to say, you are doing awesome job with that little boy… All your pics of him (and Kasko and Kahlo of course) that you posted here and in other threads are awesome! Tric is so lucky that you got him (at least for now)!

Yeppers, he arrived at 9:10pm on new years eve. What a way to bring in the new year! [image: brindleboy.jpg] If I didn't have another boy on the way, he would have stayed here. Special in so many ways. Happy b-day Len!

I found that when I lived without dogs for several years, I was allergic when a dog licked me, or if it's hair was a little dirty. But then after being around dogs a lot more, between having my own, and working with lot of others, that allergy has completely subsided. I definitely think the body is able to work thru some mild allergies with exposure.
