I have two males together (yep, both unaltered!), a flat coated retriever and a basenji. I was going back and forth with the same things, but I'm a male person. My flat is the oldest, but he is a very soft boy to work around. He has never gone into a fight, because when another dog is growling/getting into it, he backs off immediatly. So I hardly think it's going to be any problems with male/male here. Others might, every dog is different.
Which dog bed did you buy?

Cave bed is on order! I am hoping they will like it and sleep in it instead of crowding me in our bed. I ordered the large one. That should be good for two dogs?

They can't rip a Tuffie! (See thread "Butu's Bed") It might be worth contacting them to see if they'll ship to the States….
It says they ship here now: http://www.tuffies.co.uk/
I have had dogs that could rip sheepskin.
Aside from bedding, I'd like one of these: http://pinterest.com/pin/233131718182097345/

The Pinterest bed is Amazing! All it would need is an adjustable heatingpad/thermostat and some blankets and the might even stay there on their own accord! LOL.

Excellent news, Debra, thanks! I can guarantee that the Indestructible Bed really is - if you have enough room, you really won't regret it…the nest type is also undamaged...

The fluffier the better! A queen size comforter folded up and a throw cover is all you need! That way, when the mood strikes and holes are 'needed' your investment is a little $ with a lot of laughter!

I just found these site and has these hammock made with the master of the dog. I think can works for our basenjis and anyway is cheap and that old clothes can be used

Got my Cozy Cave bed. Tucker at first wanted to eat it because of the faux sheep lining. The better part of this is that Becca slept in it all last night! I think she likes it because she is all tucked in and away from Tucker. I like it because I have more room in bed. Thanks for the link!

Given up on beds for Kaiser for now, sticking with polar fleece blankets and a nice thick throw - easy to wash and dry and no stuffing to rip out.

Wow, that's awesome that Becca slept in it!!! It must be one heck of a bed to get her out of your bed, but then again..if she wasn't a fan of sleeping next to Tucker then she decided it was worth it..lol

I think that was most of it…..sleeping with Tucker. He likes to be a bonehead and chew on her legs or try to get her to play with him at bed time. I am trying to convice hubby that we need a puppy for him to play with, Becca is too told for his shenanigans.

We got Kai a dog bed from West Paw Designs

The best part of the best is that you can unzip everything and wash it.

I've been eyeballing those beds for some time now. I've been holding off on getting one because I'd hate to spend the money just for it to be destroyed.

They are pretty tough beds, Kai does the whole "nesting thing" with it and it's held up just fine, the material is strong
