Hi,

I'm Kirsten. About 20 years ago I acquired my first basenji, CH Kibushi Arwen of Signet, CD (Winnie). She was a very special dog and unfortunately died from a fungal infection before age 5. I was 4.5 months pregnant when she died. I was heartbroken and had a new baby to worry about, so dogs went on the backburner for a few years ;) .

In 3 weeks, I'm headed to Chicago to pick up a brindle girl (Avongara Rikita x Ch New World Wild Wild Age). I'm excited to be "back in dogs."

It must have been dreadful to lose Winnie at such an early age. Do you know if she was related to the first brindle basenjis (sorry, 2nd) imported here to Bunty Bowers?
