New Champion

I am very happy to announce that Zoni, Joy-Us Nightshade JC, won her second major today at the Chicagoland Hound Show as WB/BOS to complete her championship. :D:D:D Zoni received RWB to her sister, Lady, on Saturday who also got her last major to finish. This weekend also put their dam, Penny, on the brood bitch honor roll. A b/w male, Arrow, also finished his championship today as BOB/BOW. So, lots of fun this weekend for several people.
I will probably play around with getting Zoni's Gr. Ch. next year or maybe her UKC Ch. That way I can improve my showing technique since my next puppy won't be coming around probably until 2012 or so. I assume I'll start lure coursing her next year as well. Wahoo!

Big congrats to both Zoni and Arrow, so hard to finish the black and whites. My first boy 25 yrs ago was a black and white out of Serengetti Jazzman and the black judges were hard to find

It was definitely a challenge starting out with a b/w but at least it's better now. I've had a lot of help from others who show b/w to help navigating judges. I kind of hope my next one is a b/w but I'll take whatever color the best dog I can get is.

Yeah, it's disappointing. It should have been the right time for the breeding according to the progesterone testing, but no puppies in the ultrasound last week. :(

Thanks, again. :D I took a picture and hopefully it turned out. Historically, I have more bad pictures than good ones unfortunately. :rolleyes: And this photographer was not very cooperative.

That is a bummer…. of course, when I bred my Mickii they said when we did the ultrasound, no puppies.... however on December 29th 1996 we had 4 lovely pups!!!!
and I hear you about pictures...ggg... the time that Maggii was BISS at our Specialty I could not wait for the picture which turned out like "crap"... I was so dissappointed
