I like Zahra's coat, it looks lovely and warm.

I just might do that, I will call you. I have to work Fri. & Sat. but Sunday is a possibility. I would love to have a pic of the 3 of them in front of your fireplace, that would be fun.

It sounds like you need to raise your value with Zahra. Hand feeding is great way to do this. Start handing feeding Zahra one of her meals each day.

I actually do this sometimes just to get her to eat, she really just has no interest in food unless you hand feed her sometimes or add something really yummy (melted peanut butter, wet food) to her food.

With DH being military and gone a lot I tend to have to walk them together or take them out on a bike ride seperate. I will try what you and your husband do though and start our walk out in opposite direction.

I have a friend who swears by her Walkydog, takes her basenji for 6-8 mile rides when it is cooler. It evidently unclips easily if your dog needs a pit-stop. I'm afraid any one of my 3 would drag me to my death if attached to me on a bike.

This may be the first and last pictures of Zahra kayaking - she hated it AGAIN and kept trying to jump out of the kayak and swim to the shore. Looks like she will be spending time at the Doggie resort or with friends while we go out with Chase (our Puggle who loves the water)

What I love about this photo is that she has this look on her face that makes me think that she is begging DH to save her and take her home. Poor Zahra. 😞

ChaseandZarhrasmom, we are taking Dash Canoeing in a couple weeks, where did you get the lifepreserver? Do they just have them at PetSmart?

This is what dogs do, I wouldn't be embarassed in the least, I am sure they are use to this. It would be worse if you took your kid to the doctor and they peed on them. haha!!!!

I remember Caesar as a puppy would poop in the Petsmart every time we went until he was old enough to be fixed. Never pooped in the house.

I thought it was because he was a little guy. When Cairo was a super pup and would go to petsmart, I took puppy pads with me. We would walk around in the store together. When I saw him start stressing, or sniffing, or whining, I would throw the pad down even if I looked like a crazy B mom. It worked every time!!

I wouldnt fret too much until you are at an age that is beyond Abby being fixed. Some of that stuff is pure puppy…..

You can buy martingales at Petsmart in the collar section near the choke chains.

I would not reccomend doing that, fights start over the slightest things. Too many things can go wrong…...seperate cartes is the way to go IMO.:)

How funny…Nala is always under the covers...but completely!! Love those pictures.

I went by the Petpalooza today at the Ted Constant Center, it wasn't too bad, I thought there would have been more vendors there.

They had some neat shows and the pet psychic but I didn't have either of my dogs to check the psychic out.

It is going on tomorrow until 4:00 pm so I may go back over with Zahra.

I did see a B mix there today but most of the dogs were these tiny little Paris Hilton dogs, Greyhounds or Yellow Labs.
