Debra, what is the name of this product? There is probably a little area in my backyard that would need something like this, near a small pond that is built up, thus making the fence height only about 4 feet.
Fran they are fence extension kits. The ones I looked at were inward leaning.
This one has ones at horizontal level but the ones I looked at 10 yrs ago were 45 degrees

That sucks that Rainie got the "jumper" genes. Glad he came back in the fence. I wonder how he broke the cable.

oooohhh, congrats robyn, looks like you've got a great agility basenji in the making.
Of course if LindaH was serious, I'd be happy to do a Colorado leg if we're interested in transport

Robyn - alls well that ends well. I think that all of us that have been in Basenjis for some time have at some time had to keep one in less than ideal circumstances for a while at least.
Hopefully your thread will have resulted in finding him a home where he can't negotiate fences.

While I don't want to speak for Ivoss, I don't think either of us thought you were referring to us…..
And feel free to post, while we might get into "heated" conversations... there are still good advise and things to learn for everyone. -

I'm currently having email conversations with a breeder in Tucson, Arizona who has puppies and adults available. We'll be going there probably sometime in January for a couple of days to meet her and her dogs.
If, for some reason, things don't work out with one of this breeder's dogs, I would be interested in talking with Robyn about placing Rainie in our home…if we could find transport at least part of the way. (We're currently at our place in Arizona for the winter, not in Washington State).

What a lovely memorial blog you made for Maxx. It looks like he had a life to be envied by any dog. I am so sorry for your loss. The heart hurts so badly for awhile, but then the happy memories eventually take their place. And how nice that you are looking to become basenji parents again. I hope the new year finds you taking long walks again.

Holy crap Robyn! So glad he made it back safe! Ship him to Ohio. Once he's been left out in the snow for 15 minutes, he won't be so keen on escaping anymore ;)

B's certainly are determined little stinkers. I think I learned that the day we brought our boy home. Wouldn't have 'em any other way, right:rolleyes: Naughty and funny at the same time.
