    Hello, Our adopted B from BRAT, Jojo, is arriving tomorrow (Sunday) if all goes as planned. We are excited and have learned much from reading your posts. After Jojo settles in a bit we will post some pics of her. She had her thyroid tested recently by BRAT and she does have hypothyroidism but is on her meds. She is apparently shedding pretty bad right now but Paula, from BRAT, thinks it will improve as the meds build up in her blood stream. I understand that hypothyroidism is not uncommen in Bs? Jojo is our first B and we are looking forward to adding this special breed and girl to our family.

    @zande - And why I have two bitches...LOL! Or only neutered males if I have one.... while neutered males can have "safe sex".... solves the problem of unwanted litters!

    I'm afraid If I do decide to get another I won't have a chance to introduce them beforehand as it Will probably be a puppy I bring from the US.. I doubt there will be a problem since she will be a young puppy…

    She looks very sweet, whatever her parentage. We had a lab for 12 years. Sweet mild-mannered dog, a little needy and shed year-round. But great off leash, unlike the curlytails. Labs do tend to be mouthy and need something to chew on more than many breeds, but if she's older (older than 3) she may be beyond that. Either way, good luck with your new friend. Does she have a name yet?

    All three pups sleep in bed with us. We bought two double beds and stuck them togeather so we could all fit. It's still crowded. My next dog IS going to sleep in a crate!

    OMG !!! OMG !!! this was so halarious to read… I thought sandie was just being goofy shes only 10 weeks now and does this... It's so funny because her feet r too big for her body so she usually crashes...I guess im in for a treat when she can actully jump on the furniture ...
