Thanks, it was a long trip, we also brought back a red boy (littermate to Franie) Trip (AB Day Trip To Tanza-Jamaa for my friend Jeff that I will co-own with him. Jeff has one of my boys from 1996 litter, Tego.
We (Jeff and I) left here Friday, flew to Chicago, drove to Cleveland. Saturday picked up C-Me, drove back to Rockford, Il (west of Chicage) to meet Franie and Trip, left C-Me with that litter for an overnighter… pick up all three Sunday morning, drove back to O'hara and flew home... ggg talk about a "quick trip"....ggg

Well, depends on how you look at it, here in the house to raise all the time?.. about 10yrs since I whelped a litter here. But I have co-bred a couple of litters and also have a couple that I co-own or have shown for friends.

Great looking basenjis - just love the cuddling, which I seemed to notice a lot at the Seattle dog show. Can someone tell me if basenjis tend to cuddle together more than other dogs? I've just seen so many pictures of them doing this.

Depends on the dogs, depends on the temperament, and the age… some do, some don't... remember with Basenjis... they do not read the books!

I agree with Pat, it really all depends. Rally seems to have some bizarre rulebook that she expects all the others in the house to understand even though the rules are about as complex as dragon poker, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Poker, which I suppose makes sense since she was born in the year of the Dragon.
My others are less picky but all seem to prefer cuddling with a human if they can get a space.
