A newspaper here in Norway is having a contest called "Norways best looking dog." Naturally Gizmo has to be in that!

I wish there was a voting system! It's the staff/editors of the newspaper that will be doing the judging.

Hey, I had a look at the competition. I only went through the first 5 pages (there are 12,500 entries!!!). Gizmo is def the winner but I have to say the background scenery in a lot of the pics is STUNNING! Norway looks like such a gorgeous place to live. I saw one other B (B/W) and one B cross. Best of luck to Gizmo. What is the prize?? When is the winner announced??

Actually I have no idea what, of even if there is a prize. They had an "ugliest dog" contest not long ago (you can see a picture of Pepsi here), don't think there was a prize except for some PR and the title.

12500 entries is a challenge that's for sure. Which is why I went for the B/W pic and a color point on his face, hoping the picture will "pop out" more, and stick in the judges minds. Most of the pictures are pretty "bland". The last day to send in pictures was today. As for when the verdict is…I have no idea. I can imagine it will take awhile to go through all of them!

I looked through many of the contestants and I think Gizmo is right at the top - only Kei comes close and even then Gizmo has the winkles that are soooo cute. Go Gizmo!
