"All in all, I really don't care how much Basenji or whatever is in him, he is a wonderful dog. I'm not a dog person at all, but I love Hazard.

Welcome to our group - my first beastie (oops I meant basenji) was a brindle boy; my current one is a red/white female and is "terrible 2" years of age!
Welcome, where did you get Chloe if you don't mind sharing?
Welcome to the forum, we would love to see pics
At the moment we have no Dogs but are hoping to get a Basenji Pup early March
Welcome to the forum.
I've never seen a rat terrier in the UK - I've noted from the forum that they seem to get on well with basenjis

Not at all. Basenji's are not common in Alabama or really anywhere near me. I found her in Clarksville, Tennessee (about a 5 hour drive if you don't stop). That was a LONG day! Up there and right back in one day.

Rat Terriors are hyper, jump constantaly, will lick you to death, and bark like crazy at any noise they hear. BUT as soon as my Dixie see's what the noise actually is, it usually scares her and she goes running away from it. She is really easy going and my basenji just takes control of everything. The only time they don't get along is when I give them a chew bone or something. I have learned to separate them when I do to avoid any problems
Welcome to the forum!
Welcome look forward to hearing about your babies. We have Jaycee who will be a year old on Dec 26.

Hopefully her sire and dam were DNA tested for Fanconi, if not you might want to consider having her done. Please read about it at www.basenjihealth.org along with other Basenji health concerns

I think Pat wants to know if you got her from a breeder and who that breeder is.
Welcome to the forum. I work with BRAT and we have few volunteers in your area. If you are able to help in any way it would be much appreciated. Please check out www.basenjirescue.org

They both were and I tested Chloe just for a peace of mind for myself. All test results were great.
welcome to the boards, I'm pretty new myself, and I have a B mix named lilu with tan/white markings
