@julia87 How much do you know about Basenjis? Have you met any? It's highly recommended to learn as much as possible about them before making a decision to acquire one. This would be a good place to start.

No, you should look into it because you don't know where she came from and have no information if her Sire and Dam were DNA tested for Fanconi.

Did you get Lilly from the Largo SPCA? I know of 2 other basenjis adopted from there in the last 6 months!
We get together every Sunday morning (weather permitting) at a large dog park in Tampa, (West Park) you are welcome to bring Lilly over to meet the pack. We often have 10-12 basenjis there running and playing. We occasionally do a 'road trip' to Crest Lake Park in clearwater, that is a really nice park too.

nope i got her at the st.pete spca. and i take her to the walsingham doggy park but if im ever going to be up that way ill be sure to bring her!

You should be strip testing her, until you can get the DNA testing done.
