She a doll!
She has so much more black on her face/around the eyes than I recall seeing on other r/w's.

Oh, I so hope you get to have your girl play with other b's…
Watching 2 b's play is a delight...at least to me.
Then you will want to add another to your home.
Welcome to the basenji family. -

Called "masking"… it is in Midge's line and also in the Zuri line... usually fades with age.. and you can tell that this girl is tri-factored with the black on the tail.... many times with a tri factored red the masking is darker...

You should think about getting DNA test done for Fanconi… go to www.basenjihealth.org and read about it…. it is worth the money to easy your mind.. or if the worst happens, be prepared for what might be...

No, you should look into it because you don't know where she came from and have no information if her Sire and Dam were DNA tested for Fanconi.

Did you get Lilly from the Largo SPCA? I know of 2 other basenjis adopted from there in the last 6 months!
We get together every Sunday morning (weather permitting) at a large dog park in Tampa, (West Park) you are welcome to bring Lilly over to meet the pack. We often have 10-12 basenjis there running and playing. We occasionally do a 'road trip' to Crest Lake Park in clearwater, that is a really nice park too.
