I know the answer that that one.. it is the Boxer?.. right???
**Yes that's my boxer Reggie, the cat is sitting on his head. If you look at the side pics you can barely see an ear between the cats paws. He is very prone to having cats (and now basenjis) think he is very comfortable. As pictured above and this one too, this one's not even our cat, well he's basically ours (long story).

Oh my goodness! Those pics are beautiful! They look like postcards. I told my co-worker about your white boxer. She has a brown & white boxer (Gia Bella) that is the love of her life. She wanted to know…is your boxer deaf? She told me most white boxers are. Never heard of that. Anyway, you have a beautiful family!

I know no way to politely say that your coworker is grossly misinformed about most white boxers being deaf :o . Now yes they do cary a deaf gene, however so do all boxers. White are mose likely to be deaf than the color version. A well bred white boxer has only a 12% chance of being deaf. The statics of whites being deaf mainly comes from those that end up into shelters and they are mostly products of BYB. I have met two colored boxers that were deaf, one from a good breeder to other a BYB. I have also only met two whites that were deaf, both from BYBs
As for Reggie, he has what I call "selective hearing" lmao, he has perfect hearing and no health problems (another thing people thing about whites, high health problems).

Glad you are used to the "selective hearing" of your boxer…Tiggy will most likely have that as well! :D
