Does anyone know the Mija Basenji breeders? I have been trying to contact them about their basenjis and having zero luck….

Telling new folks about the difference between good breeders and breeders who are for profit not only helps them see there is a difference. It keeps them from getting a loving, and LOSING a beloved b years before they need to.
Why put yourself and your family through that, if you can avoid it, but doing some research.

Everyone pretty much already covered what I was going to say 🙂

I spoke with Toni before I got my boy because I am from Maryland. I ended up going with a breeder in Florida because at the time, that's where I was living. If I were to get another basenji pup though, I would definitely go to Toni. She was so great at answering any/all of my questions & also was very forthcoming about information regarding her dogs & her home. She offered, more than once, for me to come see her dogs while I was back in Maryland for vacation last winter.

The Basenjis that I have, have Champions and Dual Champions in the first 5 generations both Sire and Dam, plus the dog/bitch itself is a Conformation Champion, Duel Champions (Field and show ring) along with Obedience….. that doesn't mean that I think they should or need to be bred... and that said, were not...
