Does anyone know the Mija Basenji breeders? I have been trying to contact them about their basenjis and having zero luck….

She used to be on one or more of the Basenji lists….but I haven't heard from her in a looooong time....

She's not a member of the Rip Van Wrinkle Club. I did, however, contact the BBB as well as various scammer websites so others who do research on her name or breeding company don't meet the same fate. Also went ahead and contacted the AKC and BCOA, so hopefully something comes of it.

No, I haven't put my name out there as someone looking for a puppy, but she found my personal email from somewhere… I have my FB page restricted, so I don't think it's there, and I've never heard of her before. Just wondered if she was contacting others from here, too. ???

She is BAD news..last year she had 5 litters, all of 25 basenji puppies, under a different name, bluebonnet basenji or something like that…stay away... I am pretty sure she is the one..hope I am wrong though.. as a side not..a reputable, responsible breeder knows all about Fanconi and does not rely on a vet to recommend testing..

@Kipawa: I think most people will agree that neutering a dog does not spoil their spirit or temperament. More often, spaying or neutering results in a more calm, balanced animal. I agree, but we have lots of people on the Forum from over the "pond" and they have most different ideas about spay/neuter, different culture, different ideas…. and that is their right.... sometimes we all will need to agree to disagree..
