Old Kids…

i'm glad they are still cute in their old age.
Yes they are…. but they are a challenge... I hate the fact that they are getting old.. and they have problems... but my hope is that I can make their golden years happy.... with quality... and that when the time comes I know it is the time to let them go without suffering....

They all look so good, Pat! I know it is hard when they get old and have problems–and I only had one at the time! Max was doing just great until about 15. Then he really started declining rapidly his last year. You will know when the time comes to let each go. I was so heartbroken when I had to make that decision with Max last November. But I am so happy now with my two new kids. They have helped me so much.

Thanks… as it is they are doing great with the exception of Maggii who has been in renal failure for the last year... but she is hanging in there... no over the top methods for treatment, only SubQ fluid a couple of time a week to help keep her kidneys flushed out....

Wow! I am very impressed. Your dogs are absolutely beautiful. I would never have guessed they are those ages. You must be doing a great job taking care of them! Again, I am extremely impressed. They are lucky to have you as their mom!
